Wrapped AVI (wAVI)
wAVI is the wrapped version of AVI used for swapping and bridging. A native version exists on the AVI chain, and an ERC-20 version exists on Ethereum — both maintained at a 1:1 ratio through the bridge.
How the 1:1 Peg Works
wAVI maintains a strict 1:1 ratio with the AVI native coin through the AVI ↔ Ethereum bridge system.
- When AVI is wrapped, it is locked on the AVI chain
- When wAVI is unwrapped, AVI is unlocked
- Total supply across both chains always remains constant
